Direct replacement for Hitachi CP-WU5500 projectors

This lamp module fits the Hitachi CP-WU5500 projector series and ships as a fully assembled bulb-and-housing unit. It uses a Philips UHP 300 W bulb and is ready for immediate installation without extra tools.

Confirm your projector model

Verify that your unit is the CP-WU5500 and that the original lamp code is DT01931. The module is built to ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time, so matching the exact model ensures correct fit and function.

Replaces an aged or failed 300 W UHP lamp

When the existing lamp dims, flickers or reaches its rated hours, this module restores original brightness and colour balance. The jump is worth it if the projector is otherwise sound and you need a drop-in OEM-specification unit rather than a bare bulb.

Questions about this item

Does the CP-WU5500 lamp ship as a complete housing-and-bulb unit or must I buy the housing separately?

It arrives as a fully assembled module with a new Philips UHP 300W bulb already mounted in the housing, so no extra parts are needed.

Which of the four available versions should I select for my CP-WU5500 projector?

Choose the OEM lamp from the original bulb manufacturer for identical performance, the Hitachi-sold OEM for brand-matched supply, the alternative OEM for equivalent specs from a different maker, or the compatible version for a lower-cost option built with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 300W UHP rating mean for brightness and heat in my CP-WU5500?

The 300W UHP lamp delivers the designed light output for the CP-WU5500 and requires the projector's standard cooling system; it draws the same power and produces the same thermal load as the original lamp.
