Verify the projector model

Confirm that your projector accepts the DT01171 module before ordering; the supplier notes that several OEM and compatible versions exist for this part number. Compatibility depends on the exact projector model, not on the lamp specifications alone.

Steady output across modes

In normal operation the lamp is rated for 2500 hours, while economy mode extends the rating to 5000 hours. The 245W UHP bulb maintains consistent brightness and colour stability throughout each cycle rather than only during short bursts.

Questions about this item

Does the Hitachi CP-WX4021N lamp module include the housing so nothing else must be purchased?

Yes, the DT01171 module ships as a fully assembled 245W Philips UHP bulb inside its housing, ready for direct installation without extra parts.

What is the difference between the OEM versions and the compatible version offered for this model?

Three OEM versions use genuine Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita bulbs — one from the original bulb maker, one sold by Hitachi, and one from another OEM bulb supplier — while the compatible version is built by a leading third-party manufacturer using genuine OEM parts. All versions meet ISO9001 standards.

How long will the 245W lamp last in normal versus economy mode inside the projector?

Rated life is 2,500 hours in normal mode and 5,000 hours in economy mode, based on the manufacturer's specified operating cycles for this 245W UHP module.
