Check projector model and lamp code before ordering

Verify that your projector lists the CP-WX5021N designation or the DT01171 part number in its service documentation. Confirm the required wattage matches the 245 W rating supplied here. Ensure the existing lamp housing form factor aligns with this pre-assembled module. Cross-reference the manufacturer’s compatibility list to avoid fitment issues.

ISO 9001 manufacturing with pre-fitted housing

Each unit is produced under ISO 9001 quality controls and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time. The integrated housing eliminates the need to handle bare bulbs or align connectors manually during installation. This reduces the risk of contamination or connector damage. The lamp is supplied new in sealed packaging for reliable long-term operation.

Questions about this item

Does the DT01171 lamp ship with the housing already assembled or must I buy a separate cage?

The CP-WX5021N lamp arrives as a fully assembled 245W bulb inside its housing, so no extra cage or frame is required for installation.

How do I decide between the three OEM versions and the compatible version listed for the CP-WX5021N?

All four versions use genuine OEM parts and meet ISO9001 quality checks; choose the direct Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita OEM module for original-spec performance or the compatible module for a lower cost alternative.

What does the 245W rating mean for brightness and heat in my Hitachi projector?

The 245W UHP bulb delivers the projector's rated light output and runs at the designed thermal load, yielding 2,500 hours in Normal mode or 5,000 hours in Economy mode before replacement.
