Genuine Replacement Lamp for CP-WX8240

This new 245W UHP lamp module includes the bulb and housing fully assembled, matching the Hitachi DT01281 specification. It is designed for owners of the CP-WX8240 projector who need a direct replacement. Buyers with a different projector model cannot use this module.

Rated 245W with 2500 to 4000 Hour Life

The lamp draws 245W and delivers 2500 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours in economy mode. This single figure determines whether the replacement matches the original brightness and longevity. Projectors requiring a different wattage or life rating will not be compatible.

Pre-Assembled Housing for Simple Swap

The unit arrives as a complete housing, so installation only requires opening the projector door and sliding the module into place. The most common issue is forgetting to reset the lamp timer after fitting, which leaves the replacement warning active.

Questions about this item

What does the 245-watt rating mean when the lamp is installed in my projector?

It indicates the power the UHP bulb draws during operation, which determines the light output level the CP-WX8240 is designed to deliver.

How does the lamp connect to the projector and what does that interface limit?

The DT01281 module plugs directly into the projector's dedicated lamp socket, so the electrical and mechanical interface is fixed by the CP-WX8240 chassis.

What physical space and mounting points does the DT01281 need inside the projector?

It arrives as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly sized to fit the CP-WX8240 lamp cavity and secured with the projector's original retaining screws.
