Ready-to-Install Replacement Lamp

The Hitachi CP-X201 lamp module ships as a complete assembly with a new 220W UHB bulb already seated in its housing. It matches the original DT00841 part number and is built to the same 2,000-hour rated life. Installers simply remove the old unit and insert this one without handling a bare lamp.

Rated Output and Service Interval

The 220W rating fixes both the light output and the power draw, so the projector’s stock ballast and cooling run exactly as designed. Brightness will follow the factory curve for roughly 2,000 hours before a noticeable drop; the module cannot be re-lamped or driven at a different wattage.

OEM-Grade Housing and Quality Checks

Each unit passes ISO9001-controlled tests for ignition voltage, beam uniformity, connector integrity and full run-time before it leaves the factory. The precision-moulded housing aligns the reflector and plugs to the projector’s socket, preventing mis-seats that cause shutdowns or colour shift. Buyers who need a bare bulb for a custom housing or a higher-wattage upgrade will not find those options here.

Questions about this item

Which CP-X201 lamp version should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Three OEM versions use bulbs from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita; the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party maker. All meet ISO 9001 checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

What does the 220 W rating mean once the lamp is installed in my projector?

The lamp draws 220 W during operation, matching the original specification so brightness and colour output stay as the projector manufacturer intended.

What interface does the DT00841 module use and what does it limit in practice?

The module plugs directly into the projector's proprietary lamp connector; it caps replacement to Hitachi models that accept the DT00841 part number.
