Replacement lamp for Hitachi CP-X240

This 180W projector lamp module is built as a direct replacement for the Hitachi CP-X240 model DT00731. It arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing so installation is straightforward. The lamp uses a Philips UHB bulb rated for 2000 hours of operation. It is intended for owners of that specific projector who need a new light source.

Check projector model and lamp hour counter

Verify that your unit is the Hitachi CP-X240 before ordering, as this module is made for that model only. Confirm the existing lamp part number matches DT00731 to avoid fitment issues. Note the current lamp-hour reading so you can reset the counter after installation. Ensure the projector is powered off and cooled down before you begin the swap.

180W UHB bulb runs 2000 hours

The Philips UHB bulb draws 180 watts and is rated for 2000 hours of typical use. Expect normal operating warmth and fan noise consistent with the projector's original lamp. No extra power draw beyond the rated wattage is introduced by this replacement module. Regular filter cleaning helps maintain stable temperatures throughout the lamp's life.
