Hitachi CP-X2521 Replacement Lamp

This replacement lamp fits the Hitachi CP-X2521 projector and ships with a genuine OEM bulb inside a compatible housing. It is designed for owners who need a direct, like-for-like swap when the original lamp reaches end of life. The unit arrives new and ready to install without modification. Buyers who need a lamp for a different projector model should verify compatibility before ordering.

Brightness and Longevity Under Extended Use

The genuine OEM bulb is engineered to meet the projector manufacturer's exact specifications, delivering consistent brightness over long sessions rather than fading after a short burst. Direct sourcing from OEM bulb manufacturers helps the lamp maintain image quality across repeated heating and cooling cycles. The compatible housing supports stable thermal performance during sustained operation. Users who run the projector for many hours at a time will see the benefit of this build approach.

Upgrading From Generic or Aged Lamps

This lamp replaces a worn-out original or a lower-quality generic module that may have reduced output or shorter life. The jump is worth it when the current lamp shows dimming, colour shift, or frequent shutdowns caused by bulb degradation. The 180-day warranty covers defects, giving confidence in the replacement. It is not intended for projectors other than the CP-X2521.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise should I expect from the Hitachi CP-X2521 lamp during all-day use?

The lamp uses a genuine OEM bulb built to the projector manufacturer's specifications, so heat output and cooling noise match the original design for the CP-X2521 model.

What existing part must my Hitachi projector already have for this replacement lamp to install correctly?

Your CP-X2521 projector needs its original lamp cage and connector; this unit supplies the OEM bulb inside a compatible housing that fits that existing cage.

Will the 180-day warranty cover the lamp if I keep using my older CP-X2521 projector daily?

Yes, the 180-day warranty protects against defects regardless of the projector's age, provided the lamp is installed in a compatible CP-X2521 unit.
