Rated hours under two operating modes

In Normal mode the lamp is rated for 5000 hours of use, while Economy mode extends the rating to 6000 hours. Sustained brightness and colour stability are maintained across these intervals when the projector is run within its specified thermal limits. Actual runtime will vary with ambient temperature, dust levels and power-cycle frequency.

ISO9001 manufacturing and OEM sourcing

Each module is produced to ISO9001 quality standards and sourced from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, or from leading third-party manufacturers using genuine OEM parts. Units are tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time before shipping. Buyers needing a different wattage or a bare bulb without housing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 225W UHP lamp produce during long sessions?

The lamp draws 225 watts and is rated for 5,000 hours in normal mode or 6,000 hours in economy mode, so heat output stays consistent with the projector's original cooling design.

Does the DT01481 module arrive fully assembled so I only need the projector itself?

Yes, the bulb and housing come pre-assembled as a complete module, ready to install in a compatible Hitachi projector without extra parts.

Will this replacement lamp match the brightness and ignition of the original lamp in my older CP-X2542WN?

Each unit is tested to ISO 9001 standards for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time, ensuring it behaves like the original lamp in the same projector.
