Ready-to-install 160W lamp module

This Hitachi CP-X325 replacement lamp arrives as a complete 160W UHB bulb inside its housing. The module matches the original DT00331 specification so it fits the projector without extra assembly. It is intended for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who need a new light source.

Rated 2,000 hours of operation

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of typical use before brightness drops to half its initial output. That figure reflects sustained running time rather than a short-burst maximum. Regular filter cleaning and proper cool-down cycles help the unit reach the rated lifespan.

Replaces the original DT00331 lamp

Swapping the old module for this new unit restores image brightness and colour balance when the existing lamp has dimmed or reached its hour limit. The upgrade is worthwhile when the projector shows a replacement warning or visible brightness loss. It does not add features the projector did not already support.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 160W UHB lamp generate when the projector runs all day?

The lamp draws 160 watts and is rated for 2,000 hours of operation; heat output scales with that wattage and the projector’s own cooling system manages it.

What must I already own for this module to work?

You need a Hitachi projector that accepts the CP-X325 or DT00331 lamp module; the unit includes the bulb and housing so no extra parts are required.

Will this replacement lamp behave the same as the original lamp in my older Hitachi projector?

Yes, it is built to the same 160W specification and 2,000-hour life as the original lamp, so brightness, ignition and run-time match the factory module.
