Genuine 180W replacement lamp

The Hitachi CP-X8225 lamp module ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly ready for direct installation. It uses a 180W UHB lamp rated for 2000 hours of service. The unit is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards and supplied new in sealed packaging. Compatibility is confirmed for the CP-X8225 projector model (DT00731).

Steady output over 2000 hours

The 180W UHB bulb maintains consistent brightness and colour stability throughout its rated 2000-hour lifespan under normal operating conditions. Each lamp undergoes factory testing for ignition reliability, voltage regulation, beam performance and run-time before release. Output does not rely on short-term boost modes; it is designed for sustained projection sessions.

Drop-in module, no alignment needed

Because the bulb comes pre-mounted in its housing, installation requires only opening the projector lamp door, removing the old module and sliding the new one into place. No bulb-to-reflector alignment or separate housing reuse is involved. The only common issue is forgetting to reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter after fitting the replacement.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 180W UHB lamp produce during extended use?

The lamp draws 180W, so it generates noticeable heat; the projector’s internal cooling system handles dissipation during all‑day operation.

What must I already own for this DT00731 module to work?

A Hitachi CP‑X8225 projector; the lamp includes the housing and bulb, so no extra parts or tools are required for installation.

Will this replacement lamp behave the same as the original in my older CP‑X8225 unit?

Yes — it matches the original 180W specification and 2,000‑hour rated life, so brightness, ignition and run‑time remain unchanged.
