Questions about this item

How much power does the 150W lamp draw and how much heat will it add to a room during all-day use?

The lamp is rated at 150W, so it draws that power continuously and converts most of it into heat while the projector runs.

What projector model must I already own for this DT00205 module to fit and work?

It is built as a direct replacement for the Hitachi CP-X840WA projector.

Will this 150W lamp work in an older Hitachi projector that originally used a lower-wattage module?

No, the CP-X840WA requires this specific 150W DT00205 assembly; a different wattage or housing will not operate correctly.
