Replacement lamp for CP-X885 projectors

This 275W lamp module fits Hitachi CP-X885 projectors and ships as a complete housing with bulb installed. It is intended for owners who need a direct replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life. The unit arrives new and ready to fit without additional assembly. Buyers using other projector models cannot use this module.

Rated 2000 hours at full 275W output

The lamp is specified for 2000 hours of operation at its rated 275W power draw. Output stability is maintained across that period through ISO9001 manufacturing controls and per-lamp testing of beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time. The housing design matches the original thermal path so sustained brightness does not drift from overheating. Users who run projectors continuously for days should note the fixed 2000-hour rating.

Verify DT00531 part number and housing fit

Confirm your projector lists Hitachi part number DT00531 before ordering, because the CP-X885 chassis has shipped with several lamp variants. The module includes the exact housing geometry required for the CP-X885 lamp cage, so no adapter or modification is needed. Ensure the projector power supply and ballast are functional, as a faulty ballast will prevent ignition even with a new lamp.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 275 W Ushio UHB lamp draw when the projector runs all day?

The lamp is rated at 275 W, so the projector will draw roughly that amount plus the power supply overhead during continuous operation.

Does the DT00531 module include the housing so I can install it without extra parts?

Yes, the lamp ships as a complete assembly with the Ushio bulb already mounted in its housing, ready for direct installation.

Will this replacement lamp fit the same CP-X885 projector that originally used the DT00531 module?

The module is built to the original DT00531 specification, so it matches the CP-X885's lamp cavity and connector exactly.
