Hitachi CP-X938W 150W Lamp

The Hitachi CP-X938W is a 150W replacement projector lamp module that includes a new UHP bulb pre-assembled in its housing. It is designed for users who need a ready-to-install light source for compatible Hitachi projectors.

Replaces Worn Original Lamp

This module replaces a dimmed or expired original lamp when image brightness drops or the projector signals end of life. The jump is worth it when the existing lamp has reached its rated hours and a reliable 1,500-hour rated replacement restores full output.

1,500-Hour Rated Life

The lamp delivers up to 1,500 hours of operation under normal use, providing extended headroom for regular presentations or classroom sessions. It runs out when the rated hours are exceeded and brightness declines below usable levels.

Questions about this item

Does the CP-X938W DT00205 lamp module ship with the housing already fitted?

Yes, the module arrives as a fully assembled 150W UHP bulb inside its housing, so no separate cage or bracket assembly is required before fitting it to the projector.

What is the correct sequence for resetting the lamp timer after installing the DT00205 module?

Power on the projector, open the on-screen menu, navigate to the lamp-hour counter and select reset; the step often missed is confirming the reset before exiting the menu, otherwise the counter retains the old value.

When should I plan to replace the 150W UHP bulb in the CP-X938W module?

The rated life is 1,500 hours; schedule a replacement once the projector's lamp-hour counter approaches that figure or when brightness and colour uniformity noticeably decline.
