Fixed 2000 Hour Rating

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation at its specified wattage. Brightness will gradually decline as that limit approaches and the projector will eventually require another replacement. Users who run the device continuously should plan for earlier changeovers.

ISO9001 Build Quality

Each unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition voltage, run-time and connector integrity. The pre-assembled housing ensures correct alignment and secure seating in the projector chassis. Buyers needing a higher-wattage or longer-life module for a different model cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the OEM version from Philips, the one sold by Hitachi, the alternative OEM version, or the compatible version?

The Philips OEM version matches the original lamp exactly. The Hitachi-sold OEM version is the same specification. The alternative OEM version uses a different bulb maker but meets the same 150W and 2000 Hrs ratings. The compatible version uses genuine OEM parts at a lower cost.

What does the 150W rating mean for brightness and heat in my projector?

The 150W UHP bulb delivers the light output the projector was designed for. Power draw and heat match the original lamp, so the existing cooling system handles it without modification.

Does the DT00236 lamp use a standard socket or a proprietary connector?

The lamp module is a complete housing with the correct connector for Hitachi CP-X938WB projectors, allowing direct installation without adapters.
