Suited for owners of the CP-X940B model

This module fits the Hitachi CP-X940B projector and restores brightness to factory levels. Buyers who need a different wattage, a bare bulb without housing, or a lamp for another projector series should look at other listings. The product is a single replacement lamp only.

Rated for 2,000 hours of typical use

Under continuous operation the 150W UHP lamp maintains stable output for the rated 2,000 hours before brightness drops to half. Ignition voltage and colour balance stay consistent throughout the cycle. The housing is designed to dissipate heat evenly so the lamp reaches its full service life.

Questions about this item

Which Hitachi projector models accept the DT00236 lamp module?

The DT00236 module is built for the CP-X940B projector; verify your unit uses this exact model number before fitting.

Will the 150W UHP bulb operate correctly in a projector that originally shipped with a lower-wattage lamp?

The lamp matches the original 150W specification, so it should not exceed the projector’s designed power draw or cooling capacity.

How can I confirm the new lamp is igniting and running at the rated 2000-hour life after installation?

Reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter, then monitor the on-screen timer; steady brightness and no error warnings indicate normal operation.
