Compatible Hitachi CP-X940W Lamp

The Hitachi CP-X940W is a genuine compatible replacement projector lamp module that includes a new 150W UHP bulb pre-assembled in its housing. It is built for owners of the CP-X940W projector who need a drop-in unit that restores original brightness without separate bulb handling. The lamp is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards and supplied new.

Pre-assembled housing benefit

Because the bulb ships already seated in the housing, installation requires only swapping the complete module rather than fitting a bare bulb into an existing cage. This reduces the risk of dust contamination, fingerprints on the glass, or alignment errors that can shorten lamp life. The design also eliminates the need for specialised tools during replacement.

Check projector model and hours

Verify that your projector is the Hitachi CP-X940W before ordering, as the DT00205 module is specific to that model. Confirm the lamp-hour counter can be reset after installation so the 1,500-hour rating is tracked correctly. Ensure the projector’s power supply and cooling system are functioning normally to support the 150W UHP lamp.

Questions about this item

How often will the 150 W UHP bulb need replacement if the projector runs eight hours every day?

The lamp is rated for 1500 hours, so at eight hours daily you would replace it roughly every six months.

What limit appears first during a long presentation — brightness drop or thermal shutdown?

Brightness declines gradually over the 1500-hour rated life; thermal shutdown is not a specified limit for this module.

How much heat and fan noise does the 150 W lamp add when the projector runs all day?

The 150 W UHP lamp generates the heat the projector’s cooling system was designed for; no extra noise or temperature rise is introduced.
