Hitachi CP-X958 replacement lamp

The Hitachi CP-X958 DT00231 is a new 190W projector lamp module supplied as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is designed for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who need a ready-to-install replacement without separate assembly.

Practical limits of UHP lamp life

The UHP lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation before brightness declines to a level that requires replacement. Actual runtime varies with projector usage patterns, ambient temperature and the power-saving modes selected in the projector menu.

The 190W rating decides compatibility

The lamp draws 190W and must match the projector's specified wattage and physical housing; using a different wattage will prevent ignition or damage the projector. Buyers who need a different wattage or a bare bulb without housing cannot use this module.

Questions about this item

Which version of the CP-X958 lamp should I pick?

What does the 190 W rating mean for my projector?

The lamp draws 190 watts, matching the power spec the projector expects so brightness and colour stay as designed.

How does the UHP lamp interface affect replacement?
