Questions about this item

Which Hitachi projector models accept the CP860/960LAMP 190W lamp module?

The CP860/960LAMP is designed for Hitachi CP860 and CP960 projectors, matching the original 190W UHP specification and housing dimensions.

Will this 190W replacement lamp operate correctly in a projector that originally used a lower-wattage module?

No, the lamp is rated at 190W and 2,000 hours; installing it in a projector designed for a different wattage can cause ignition or thermal issues.

How can I verify the new lamp is performing to its rated 2,000-hour life after installation?

Reset the projector's lamp-hour counter at install, then monitor the on-screen timer and image brightness; consistent output and no premature warning indicate correct operation.
