190W replacement projector lamp module with assembled bulb and housing rated for 2,000 hours
The Hitachi CP860LAMP module ships as a fully assembled 190W UHP bulb inside its housing, eliminating the need for separate lamp-and-cage handling. It is built for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who want a straightforward swap without disassembly.
At its rated 190W the lamp operates within the thermal envelope designed for the host projector, so existing fan curves and ventilation remain adequate. The 2,000-hour rated life reflects standard brightness mode under typical room conditions.
Each unit undergoes beam-performance, ignition-voltage, connection-integrity and run-time checks before dispatch. The pre-fitted housing saves installation time and reduces the risk of dust contamination during lamp changes.

Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, then open the lamp door, remove the old module, insert the new CP860LAMP housing until it clicks, close the door, and reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu — the reset step is the one most people forget.
The 190W UHP bulb is rated for 2000 hours of operation; once that limit is reached the lamp must be replaced with a new CP860LAMP module, as the housing is not designed for bulb-only servicing.
The rated 2000-hour lamp life is the primary limit; after those hours brightness drops and the projector will signal that a replacement is required.
