Hitachi, Ltd. Deskstar 7K500 500Gb 7200Rpm 8Mb Buffer 3.5 Inch Pata Hard Disk Drive

SKU CH-9CVW-7M5VN

A 500 GB 3.5 inch PATA hard drive spinning at 7200 rpm with 8 MB buffer

  • 500 GB capacity stores large file collections
  • 7200 RPM spindle speed reduces data access latency
  • 8 MB buffer smooths burst read and write operations
  • 5 inch PATA form factor fits legacy desktop bays

Ideal for legacy PATA systems

This Hitachi Deskstar 7K500 delivers 500Gb of storage on a 3.5 inch PATA interface. The 7200Rpm spindle speed and 8Mb buffer suit older desktops or industrial equipment that still rely on parallel ATA connections. It arrives new and ready for installation in compatible bays.

Mechanical build with standard 3.5 inch mounting

The drive fits regular 3.5 inch drive bays using the conventional four-hole pattern. Its PATA connector and legacy power socket mean no adapter cables are required for period-correct hardware. The 5.1 unit weight reflects a typical metal chassis designed for fixed internal mounting.
