A 150W replacement lamp module with a 2,000-hour rated life for Hitachi projectors
The Hitachi DT00401 is a complete lamp-and-housing assembly built around a new Philips UHB 150 W bulb. It fits directly into compatible Hitachi projectors without additional tools or alignment steps. The unit is supplied new and manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards. Buyers who need a bare bulb without housing should look elsewhere.
At the rated 150 W the lamp delivers its specified 2 000 hours of operation under normal projector use. Power consumption and thermal output match the original equipment design, so existing cooling and power circuits handle the load unchanged. Acoustic profile remains consistent with the factory lamp because the housing and bulb geometry are identical. Projectors that demand higher wattage or longer rated life cannot use this module.
This module replaces a depleted Hitachi DT00401 lamp in the same projector models that shipped with it. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original lamp has reached its hour limit or shows dimming and colour shift. It does not increase brightness beyond the projector’s native specification, nor does it add features such as networking or lens shift. Installers needing a different connector type or form factor must choose another part.

Power off and cool the projector completely, then remove the lamp cover, release the retaining screws, pull the old module straight out, insert the new DT00401 housing until it seats firmly, re-tighten screws, replace the cover, and reset the lamp timer in the menu.
The entire DT00401 lamp module — housing and 150W Philips UHB bulb together — reaches rated life at 2000 hours and must be swapped as a unit; no separate bulb change is possible.
The 150W UHB lamp reaches its 2000-hour rated lifespan before any other component, after which brightness drops and ignition may become unreliable.
