A new 165 W replacement projector lamp module with a 2,000-hour rated life, supplied fully assembled for immediate installation
The Hitachi DT00701 is a new 165W replacement lamp module that includes a fully assembled UHB bulb and housing for immediate installation in compatible Hitachi projectors. It is intended for users who need a direct swap to restore brightness without rewiring or alignment. The unit arrives ready to fit and is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards.
Rated lamp life is 2,000 hours under typical operating conditions; actual runtime varies with usage patterns, ventilation and power cycling. Brightness will gradually decline as the lamp ages and the projector may warn when replacement is approaching. The 165W power draw requires the projector's original ballast and cooling system to function within design limits.
This module replaces the factory lamp when it reaches end of life or suffers a premature failure that leaves the projector unusable. The jump is worth it when image brightness has dropped below acceptable levels or the projector displays a lamp-replacement warning. It is not for buyers who want a higher-wattage upgrade or a different lamp technology than the original 165W UHB design.

Four versions are offered: three OEM options — from the original bulb maker, from Hitachi, and from another OEM bulb maker — plus an economical compatible version built with genuine OEM parts.
The lamp draws 165 watts of power during operation, matching the projector's designed power setting for correct brightness and thermal balance.
It is the rated lamp life under normal use; actual hours will vary with projector settings, ambient temperature and how often the unit is power-cycled.
