Ready-to-install lamp module

This Hitachi DT01055 module arrives as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly for immediate fitting in compatible Hitachi projectors. It removes the need to handle a bare lamp or reuse an old cage, saving time during maintenance. The unit suits education, business and home-cinema users who want a straightforward swap without special tools. Condition is new and the product is ready for use.

Thermal output and power draw

The UHB lamp runs at 260 W, so the projector’s cooling system must handle that heat load during normal operation. Expect fan noise to follow the projector’s standard profile for a lamp of this wattage. Economy mode extends the rated life to 4000 hours while reducing brightness and thermal output. Normal mode provides full output for 2000 hours.

Build quality and daily implications

Each lamp is produced under ISO 9001 controls and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time before shipping. The pre-assembled housing ensures correct alignment and secure electrical contact from the first start. No separate bulb installation is required, so downtime stays minimal when a replacement is due.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DT01055 lamp module, and what step is often missed?

The module arrives fully assembled with the 260W UHB bulb inside the housing. Power off and unplug the projector, remove the old module, insert the new one until it seats firmly, then secure the retaining screws before replacing the lamp cover.

What maintenance or replacement will this lamp need later?

The 260W UHB bulb is rated for 2000 hours in Normal mode or 4000 hours in Economy mode. When brightness drops or the projector signals end of life, replace the entire DT01055 module.

What limit appears first during sustained use?

Continuous operation in Normal mode reaches the 2000-hour rated life first, triggering the projector’s replacement warning. Economy mode extends this to 4000 hours.
