Replacement Lamp for Hitachi Projectors

This 245W UHP lamp module is built as a direct replacement for Hitachi CP-SX8350, CP-WUX8440, CP-WX8240, CP-X8150 and CP-WU8440 projectors. It combines an original housing with a genuine OEM bulb to match the manufacturer's brightness and colour specifications. The unit is rated for 2500 hours of typical use. It arrives new and ready to install.

Suited for owners of the listed Hitachi models

The lamp fits only the five projector models named in the compatibility list. Buyers who need a different wattage, a longer rated life or a lamp for any other projector brand or series should look elsewhere. It is a single-lamp module, so installations that require dual-lamp operation cannot use this unit.

Original housing and genuine OEM bulb

The package supplies one complete module containing both the original cage and the original bulb. This construction is intended to deliver the same light output and stability as the factory-fitted lamp. No additional cables, filters or software are included.

Questions about this item

Which Hitachi projectors accept the DT01281 245W lamp module?

The DT01281 is the original lamp for CP-SX8350, CP-WUX8440, CP-WX8240, CP-X8150 and CP-WU8440 projectors.

Can I keep using my existing ceiling mount and cables when I swap to this lamp?

Yes — the lamp module fits the original housing, so the projector stays in place and all video and power connections remain unchanged.

How do I verify the new DT01281 lamp is operating correctly after installation?

Reset the lamp timer in the projector menu, then confirm the image reaches full brightness and the timer begins counting from zero hours.
