Compatible Osram 225W Projector Lamp

This replacement module fits the Hitachi DT01481 and Dukane 456-8931WA projectors. It ships as a complete housing with a genuine Osram UHP bulb already installed, so no separate lamp assembly is required. The unit is new and manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards.

Steady Output Over 5000 Normal Hours

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 5000 hours of continuous operation before brightness drops to half. Switching to economy mode extends the rated life to 6000 hours while reducing power draw and heat. The UHP design maintains stable colour balance throughout the rated span.

Verify Projector Model Before Ordering

Confirm your projector lists DT01481 or 456-8931WA in its service manual or on the existing lamp label. This module will not fit other Hitachi or Dukane models that use different wattages or housing shapes. Buyers who need a higher-wattage lamp or a bare bulb without housing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 225W Osram UHP bulb generate during extended use?

The lamp draws 225 watts and is rated for 5,000 hours in normal mode or 6,000 hours in economy mode, so heat output scales with the selected brightness setting.

Does the Dukane 456-8931WA module arrive fully assembled, or must I supply a separate housing?

It ships as a complete unit with the new Osram 225W bulb already installed in the housing, so no extra parts are needed for installation.

Will this DT01481 lamp work in the same Hitachi projector that originally used the 456-8931WA part?

Yes, the module is built as a direct replacement for the Dukane 456-8931WA and matches the Hitachi DT01481 specification for compatible projectors.
