Hitachi ED-X3450W projector lamp

The Hitachi ED-X3450W is a 165W UHB projector lamp supplied as a complete bulb-and-housing module. It is intended for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who need a direct replacement that installs without extra assembly.

Sustained output over 2,000 hours

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation. It maintains consistent brightness and colour stability throughout that period rather than fading quickly after an initial burst. The UHB bulb design supports steady ignition and voltage regulation across the full rated lifespan.

Thermal behaviour and power draw

At 165W the lamp draws a fixed power level that the projector’s original cooling system is built to handle. Normal running temperatures and fan noise stay within the limits the projector was designed for, so no additional ventilation or power provision is required.

Questions about this item

How hot does the 165W UHB bulb run during long sessions?

The lamp draws 165 watts, so the projector's own cooling system handles the heat; keep vents clear for steady operation.

Does the DT00671 housing fit my existing Hitachi projector without extra parts?

Yes, the module arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing matched to the ED-X3450W, ready to install.

Will the 2,000-hour rating hold up if I keep using my older Hitachi unit daily?

Rated life is 2,000 hours; actual runtime varies with usage patterns and the projector's built-in power management.
