Hitachi ED-X3450W replacement lamp

The Hitachi ED-X3450W is a new 165W OEM replacement projector lamp module that includes a Philips UHB bulb pre-fitted in its housing. It is designed for users who need a direct swap for the original DT00671 lamp in compatible Hitachi projectors.

165W UHB lamp rated for 2000 hours

The lamp operates at 165 watts and carries a rated life of 2000 hours under standard use. Brightness will gradually decline as the bulb ages, and actual runtime varies with projector settings, ambient temperature and how often the unit is power-cycled.

Pre-assembled housing for tool-free installation

Because the bulb ships already seated in its cage, installation typically requires only opening the projector's lamp door, releasing the retaining screws and sliding the module into place. The most common issue is forgetting to reset the projector's lamp-hour counter after fitting the new unit, which can leave the replacement warning active.

Questions about this item

Which version of the Hitachi ED-X3450W lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Three OEM versions are offered — the original bulb manufacturer's lamp, the same lamp sold by Hitachi, and an alternative OEM bulb maker — plus a lower-cost compatible module built with genuine OEM parts; all meet ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

What does the 2,000-hour rating mean for everyday use?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation; actual life varies with projector settings, ambient temperature and on-off cycles, so plan replacement around that benchmark.

Does the 165W Philips UHB bulb require a specific projector interface or standard?

The module is a direct replacement for Hitachi model DT00671 and fits the projector's existing lamp housing and power connector without adapters or firmware changes.
