A 180W replacement lamp module with 2000-hour rated life, supplied fully assembled for quick installation
The Hitachi ED-X8255 is a new 180W projector lamp module that ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly. It matches the original DT00731 specification so technicians can swap it in without extra tools or alignment steps.
The UHB bulb is rated for 2 000 hours of operation at the stated 180W power draw. Brightness will decline gradually after that point and the projector will eventually require another lamp change to maintain image quality.
This unit is built for the ED-X8255 projector only; it will not fit other Hitachi models or third-party projectors that use a different lamp code. Verify the DT00731 part number on your existing module before ordering.

The supplier offers three OEM versions — one from the original bulb manufacturer, one sold by Hitachi, and one from another OEM bulb maker — plus a compatible version built with genuine OEM parts.
At 2000 hours, the 180W UHB bulb is rated for roughly 90 minutes of projection each day over six years before brightness drops to half its initial level.
Every version is produced under ISO9001 quality management, with checks on beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.
