Suits owners needing a drop-in spare

Buyers who want a bare bulb without housing or who use a different projector series should look elsewhere. The fixed 275W rating also means it cannot serve lower- or higher-wattage models.

275W Ushio UHB bulb with 2,000–3,000 hour rating

The lamp runs at 275W and is rated for 2,000 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode. This single figure determines whether the module meets your projector's brightness and longevity requirements.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 275W Ushio UHB lamp produce during continuous use?

The lamp draws 275 watts and is rated for 2,000 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode, so heat output scales with the selected brightness setting.

Which Hitachi projector models accept the DT00871 lamp module without extra parts?

The DT00871 module fits the Hitachi HCP-8000X projector directly; no additional cables, mounts or adapters are required for installation.

Will the 275W lamp work reliably in an older HCP-8000X that has run earlier lamps for thousands of hours?

Yes, the module is built to the same 275W specification and ISO 9001 quality checks as the original lamp, so it ignites and runs correctly in ageing projectors.
