Verify Projector Compatibility Before Ordering

Confirm that your Hitachi projector accepts the HX-3188 lamp module, also referenced as DT00751, before purchasing. The supplier notes that multiple OEM and compatible versions exist for this model number, so matching the exact part code ensures the housing and connector align with your device. No tools or wiring are required for installation.

Consistent Output Over 2,000-Hour Rating

The UHB bulb is manufactured to ISO 9001 standards and undergoes checks for beam performance, ignition voltage, and run-time stability. This quality control aims to deliver steady brightness and reliable ignition throughout the rated 2,000-hour lifespan rather than only during initial use. Each unit is tested for appearance and connection integrity before shipping.

Questions about this item

Does the HX-3188 module arrive as a complete unit or must the housing be purchased separately?

The HX-3188 is a fully assembled 165 W lamp module that includes a new Philips UHB bulb inside its housing, so nothing extra is needed for installation.

What are the four HX-3188 versions and how do I decide between them?

Three are OEM — direct from the original bulb maker, sold by Hitachi, or from another OEM bulb maker — and one is a value compatible built with genuine OEM parts; all meet ISO 9001 checks for ignition, voltage and run-time.

What does the 2 000-hour rating mean for daily classroom use?

At roughly four hours per school day the 2 000-hour lamp should last about two academic years before brightness drops to half its initial level.
