Replacement lamp for Hitachi projectors

The Hitachi MC-X2500 DT00471 is a new 250W UHB projector lamp module supplied with bulb and housing pre-assembled. It is intended for users whose existing Hitachi projector requires a direct replacement lamp to restore brightness and colour accuracy.

Practical limits of a 250W UHB lamp

Rated lamp life is 2000 hours under typical operating conditions; actual runtime varies with usage patterns, ventilation and power-cycle frequency. Brightness will gradually decline as the lamp ages and the 250W power draw requires the projector's original cooling system to function correctly.

Check your projector before ordering

Confirm that your Hitachi projector lists the DT00471 or MC-X2500 as a compatible lamp model in its service documentation. Verify that the lamp housing matches the installed unit and that the projector's air filters and fans are clean so the new lamp can reach its rated 2000-hour life.
