Hitachi MVP-X12 250W Lamp Module

The Hitachi MVP-X12 is a new 250 watt UHB projector lamp module that ships with the bulb already mounted in its housing. It is built as a direct replacement for the original DT00471 lamp used in compatible Hitachi projectors.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Owners of a matching Hitachi projector who need a factory-specification 250W lamp with a 2,000 hour rating will find this module ready to install. Buyers whose projector requires a different wattage, a different connector or a longer rated life should look at another lamp.

Deciding Specification — 250W UHB Lamp

The single figure that determines fit is the 250 watt UHB lamp type. If the projector’s service manual calls for a 250W UHB lamp with a 2,000 hour rating, this module matches that requirement; otherwise it will not operate correctly.

Questions about this item

Which Hitachi projector models accept the DT00471 lamp module?

The DT00471 module is built for the Hitachi MVP-X12 projector; verify your projector model matches MVP-X12 before ordering.

Will the 250W UHB lamp operate in a projector that originally used a lower-wattage lamp?

No — the projector must be designed for a 250W UHB lamp; using this module in a lower-wattage chassis can cause overheating or ignition failure.

How do I confirm the lamp is running at the rated 2000-hour life after installation?

Reset the projector's lamp-hour counter to zero; the counter will then track usage toward the 2000-hour rating.
