Replacement lamp for Hitachi projectors

The PJ-TX100W module is a new 150W lamp assembly that ships with a Philips UHB bulb already fitted in its housing. It matches the original part number DT00661 and installs without extra tools or alignment steps. Buyers who need a higher-wattage module or a different connector type will not be served by this unit.

Sustained output over the rated lifetime

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of operation at its specified 150W power level. Output stability is verified through ignition, voltage and run-time checks before the module leaves the factory. Users who run their projector continuously for longer sessions should expect the same gradual brightness decline that is normal for UHB technology.

Thermal and acoustic profile in daily use

The 150W bulb operates within the thermal envelope designed for the original projector, so the existing cooling system handles heat without modification. No additional fan noise is introduced beyond what the projector already produces. Power draw remains at the rated wattage, keeping electricity costs predictable for regular viewing.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 150 W lamp add during long sessions?

The lamp draws 150 W, so that power becomes heat inside the projector; ensure the unit's vents stay clear and the room has adequate airflow for all-day use.

Does the DT00661 module include the housing so I only need the projector itself?

Yes, the bulb comes pre-assembled in its housing, making it a direct swap for the original module in a compatible Hitachi projector.

Will this lamp run in the same Hitachi models that used the original DT00661?

It is built to the same 150 W, 2 000-hour specification as the factory lamp, so it operates identically in any projector designed for the DT00661 part.
