Hitachi X417 220W Projector Lamp

The Hitachi X417 is a new OEM replacement lamp module that ships with a Ushio 220W bulb pre-mounted in its housing. It is designed for owners of compatible Hitachi projectors who need a direct, ready-to-install light source without separate bulb handling.

2,000-hour rated life and 220W output

The lamp delivers 220 watts of power and is rated for 2,000 hours of operation under normal use. Brightness will gradually decline as the lamp ages, and the module reaches its practical limit once the rated hours are exceeded or the projector indicates end-of-life.

Projector-specific fit and electrical match

The X417 module matches the mechanical and electrical interface required by its designated Hitachi models. It cannot be used in projectors that require a different wattage, connector layout, or housing form factor, and it does not support user-serviceable bulb replacement.

Questions about this item

Will the 220W UHB lamp run on the power supply of my older Hitachi projector that originally used the DT00841 module?

The lamp is built as a direct replacement for the DT00841 module and draws 220W, matching the original specification so the existing power supply will support it.

How can I confirm the new 220W lamp is operating correctly after installation?

Reset the projector's lamp-hour counter, then verify the on-screen timer starts from zero and the image reaches full brightness without flicker during the first few minutes.

Does the X417 package include only the bare bulb or a complete housing, and do I need any extra tools?

The module arrives as a fully assembled 220W UHB bulb inside its housing, ready for tool-free installation; no separate bulb, cage or tools are required.
