Compatible projector models
This air filter cartridge is built for Hitachi and Maxell projectors carrying the model numbers 3001, 4001, 5002, 3011, 4011, 8133 and 8142. It fits units such as the LP-AW4001, LP-AW3001, LP-AX3001, MP-AW4001, MP-AW3001, MP-AX3001, MP-EU5002, MP-EW5002, MP-EX5002, MP-TW4011, MP-TW3011, 8133WISS and 8142WISS.
Sustained protection
During continuous operation the cartridge traps dust before it reaches the optical engine, keeping airflow steady and internal temperatures stable. A clogged filter reduces fan efficiency and lets heat accumulate, which shortens the life of the lamp and other components over time.
Maintenance limits
The manufacturer advises cleaning the filter every three months and replacing it whenever the lamp is changed. Projectors may display a warning icon when the filter needs attention; if no warning appears, a visual inspection showing any buildup means the cartridge should be swapped immediately.
