Five-Input HDMI 2.1 Switch

This 5-port HDMI switch connects up to five source devices to a single display using HDMI 2.1. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 240 Hz for gaming consoles, streaming sticks and PCs. An included IR remote and front-panel button provide two ways to change the active input. The unit ships with a 5 V DC power adapter for stable operation.

Verify Port Count And Cable Lengths

Confirm that your display has one free HDMI input and that each of the five sources uses a standard HDMI connector. The remote operates within a 33-foot line-of-sight range, so check the seating distance. Ensure the supplied power adapter can reach an outlet near the switch location. All cables must be rated for the bandwidth your chosen resolution requires.

Sustained 48 Gbps Bandwidth Delivery

The HDMI 2.1 implementation maintains the full 48 Gbps link during extended sessions, preventing signal drop-outs or flicker at 8K60 or 4K240. External 5 V power keeps the internal equalisers active so long cable runs stay reliable. HDCP 2.3 and CEC pass-through remain functional throughout continuous operation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy any HDMI cables separately?

The box includes the 5-port HDMI switch, an IR remote, a 5 V DC power adapter and a user guide. HDMI cables for the five inputs and the single output are not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I choose between the 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz modes?

The switch supports both resolutions simultaneously; it automatically passes the highest resolution and refresh rate that your source device and display negotiate, up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@240Hz.

What does the 48Gbps bandwidth mean for my gaming setup?

The 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth carries uncompressed 8K@60Hz or 4K@240Hz signals with HDR10+ and HDCP 2.3, so games from a PS5 or Xbox run at full fidelity without compression artefacts or added latency.
