Three-computer KVM switch

This Hitoor KVM switch connects three computers to three HDMI monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It is built for users who need extended or duplicate display modes across a triple-monitor desk. Each computer must provide two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and one HDMI 2.1 output to drive all three screens. The package includes three USB 3.0 cables, a wired remote and a 12 V power adapter.

Build and connections

The unit measures 5 by 3.9 by 2 inches and has front-panel push buttons plus a 1.52 m wired remote for switching. Three colour LEDs show the active computer at a glance. Three HDMI outputs replace the usual DisplayPort outputs, so common monitors plug in without adapters. Four USB 3.0 ports handle keyboard, mouse, printer or other devices at up to 5 Gbps. External power is required and supplied.

Resolution limits

HDMI inputs support up to 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 4K at 60 Hz. DisplayPort inputs support up to 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz. Both interfaces are backward compatible with lower resolutions. Use HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 cables kept as short as practical. Computers without three native video outputs cannot drive three monitors through this switch.
