10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen2 with 100W PD

The cable delivers up to 10Gbps transfer speed and carries 20V at 5A for 100W charging. An integrated E-Mark chip enables the high power profile and stable 4K video signal. It is backward compatible with lower wattage PD chargers.

Suits users needing one cable for power.

Buyers who want a single braided cable to charge a laptop, move large files and drive a 4K monitor will find it fits. Users with USB-A only ports or devices requiring USB-C to USB-A connectivity should look at a different cable type.

Questions about this item

What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I plug this cable into my laptop and drive?

It lets you move large files or backups at up to 10 Gbps, the full speed of USB 3.1 Gen 2, so a 10 GB transfer finishes in seconds rather than minutes.

How does the USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface limit charging and video on this cable?

The Gen 2 lane carries 10 Gbps data while the Power Delivery channel delivers up to 100 W at 20 V 5 A, and the same wires carry a 4K 60 Hz DisplayPort signal without slowing the data.

Will the 6.6 ft braided cable with its 4.5 mm diameter fit through my desk grommet and reach the floor outlet?

At 6.6 ft long and 4.5 mm thick the nylon-braided cable threads through standard grommets and reaches from a desk to a floor socket with slack to spare.
