What it is

The Hitoor Wireless Gaming Mouse is a new optical mouse with seven programmable buttons and three selectable DPI levels up to 3200. It connects via a 2.4 GHz RF receiver and includes a rechargeable battery with a charging cable, making it suitable for gamers and general users who want a cordless setup without disposable cells.

Wireless limits

The 2.4 GHz RF link works up to 10 metres or 32.81 feet in open conditions, but walls, metal surfaces or other 2.4 GHz devices can reduce reliable range. The mouse enters sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity to conserve charge, so a brief click is needed to wake it before play resumes.

Deciding spec

Maximum sensitivity tops out at 3200 DPI with fixed steps at 1200 and 2400, so players who need higher resolution or on-the-fly granular adjustment will find this model insufficient. The seven buttons and fire button cover basic macros, but the fixed DPI ceiling is the single figure that determines suitability.

Questions about this item

Which DPI setting should I pick for everyday use versus fast-paced gaming?

The mouse offers three fixed levels — 1200, 2400 and 3200 DPI — so choose 1200 for precise desktop work and step up to 3200 when you need quicker cursor travel in games.

What does the 3200 DPI figure actually deliver on screen?

At the top setting the sensor moves the pointer 3200 counts per inch of hand travel, giving fast screen crossing without lifting the mouse, while the lower steps provide finer control for aiming.

How does the 2.4 GHz wireless link perform in practice?

The 2.4 GHz RF connection uses the included USB receiver and is rated for up to 10 metres (32.81 ft) of control distance with no driver installation required.
