Questions about this item

How long before the Pixart A3050 sensor or the 9 programmable buttons need replacement?

Optical sensors and mechanical switches are rated for millions of clicks; typical gaming use lasts several years before any degradation appears.

What limits continuous high-speed movement at 4000 DPI and 1000 Hz polling?

The sensor caps at 60 IPS tracking speed and 20G acceleration; exceeding either causes loss of precision.

Does the 1.8 m cable or RGB lighting add noticeable heat or power draw during all-day sessions?

USB power stays within the standard 5 V 500 mA limit; the mouse runs cool and the cable adds no measurable heat.
