Purpose and user

The HNZXIB DLSB-10/60 is a 10L laboratory chiller that circulates coolant down to -60°C for low-temperature reactions and storage. It suits chemists, pharmaceutical researchers and process engineers who need stable sub-ambient fluid for rotary evaporators, jacketed reactors, freeze-drying ovens or magnetic stirrers. The microcomputer controller delivers ±0.2°C precision across the -60°C to room-temperature range.

Integration requirements

The unit runs on 220V/50Hz mains and occupies a 730×660×880 mm footprint, so bench space and a compatible supply must be available. An internal pump provides 20 L/min flow at 4-6 m head, allowing direct connection to external glassware or vessels without additional circulation hardware. Ventilation is required for operation in environments up to 25°C and 60-80% humidity. Wooden-case packaging protects the compressor and electronics during transit.

Upgrade context

The 10L reservoir and -60°C capability replace smaller baths or higher-temperature circulators when reaction volumes exceed 5L or when protocols demand temperatures below -40°C. The 3679-510W refrigeration capacity supports continuous heat removal that ice baths or thermoelectric coolers cannot sustain. It is not suited for users needing more than 10L capacity, temperatures below -60°C, or alternative voltage standards without a special order.
