2L Jacketed Glass Reactor

The HNZXIB S-2L is a 2-litre double-layer glass reactor designed for laboratory synthesis and testing. It operates on a 110V 50/60Hz supply and uses GG17 high-borosilicate glass for chemical resistance. The floor-standing unit includes an electric stir motor with a PTFE agitator and universal joint. A reserved thermometer casing allows temperature monitoring during reactions.

Capacity and temperature control

The 2L inner vessel handles stirring reactions under vacuum while the jacket circulates thermal fluids for heating or cooling. The 60W motor delivers 0–600 rpm with a maximum of 1300 rpm and 2400 g·cm torque. Hot oil, water or freezing liquid in the interlayer provides constant temperature control. A bottom drain valve enables easy solution release after the process.

Glass and motor limits

GG17 high-borosilicate glass offers high transparency for visual observation and resists thermal shock within standard laboratory ranges. The 12 mm stirring shaft diameter and gear motor design set the mechanical boundary for viscosity and torque. The LCD display provides temperature readouts for the reaction mixture. The large bottle mouth simplifies cleaning but does not alter the vessel’s pressure or vacuum ratings.
