The kit includes two receivers and a vacuum-jacketed adapter with four Vigreux stages. All glassware is GG17 high borosilicate for chemical stability and durability.

The apparatus centres on a 10L heating mantle that integrates magnetic stirring and digital temperature control. It requires a 110V or 220V supply to deliver 1500W heating power and 80W stirring power. A vacuum source capable of reaching 0.098 MPa is needed to operate the short path.
