20L Vacuum Filtration System

The HNZXIB ZF-20L is a 20L laboratory vacuum filtration system built for high-volume liquid processing. It uses a GG17 high borosilicate glass receiving flask with a bottom outlet valve for sample collection. A stainless steel Buchner funnel handles the filter media. The 304 stainless steel frame includes lockable casters for mobility. The unit ships in a wooden case.

Setup Requirements

Verify that your laboratory bench or floor space can accommodate the 20L flask volume and the support frame footprint. Ensure an oil-free vacuum pump with sufficient flow capacity is available to create the necessary negative pressure. Confirm that compatible vacuum hose and appropriate filter media such as microporous membrane, filter paper or filter cloth are on hand. The bottom outlet valve requires a suitable container or drainage connection.

Sustained Operation

The GG17 borosilicate glass flask maintains structural integrity and transparency during extended filtration runs. The stainless steel funnel resists corrosion and allows repeated cleaning without degradation. The 304 frame with lockable casters remains stable when the system is full and under continuous vacuum. The bottom outlet valve enables continuous liquid removal without interrupting the pressure differential across the membrane.
