Scale & Subject

This is a 1/72 scale diecast model of the Boeing F-15SA Eagle operated by the Saudi Royal Air Force. It replicates airframe 12-1002 wearing USAF test markings from 2018 and is aimed at adult collectors of modern military aviation. The officially licensed replica arrives in the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging.

Detail & Display

The model combines diecast metal and plastic to deliver a heavy, realistic feel with true-to-scale proportions measuring approximately 10.75 inches long and 7.25 inches in wingspan. Features include realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels, an opening canopy, a pilot figure, detachable ordnance loads and a display stand for shelf or desk presentation.

Collecting Context

It upgrades simpler plastic kits by adding pre-assembled metal construction, licensed accuracy and fine surface details such as antennas and access panels. The jump is worth it for enthusiasts who want a ready-to-display representation of a specific 2018 test aircraft rather than a generic F-15. Buyers needing larger scales or flyable radio-controlled versions should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/72 scale and 10.75-inch length fit in my existing display case with other 1/72 models?

Yes, the model is built to a standard 1/72 scale and measures 10.75 inches long with a 7.25-inch wingspan, so it will match the footprint of other 1/72 aircraft in your case.

How can I verify the opening canopy and detachable ordnance operate correctly once I unpack it?

Gently slide the canopy rearward to confirm it opens smoothly, then check that each missile and fuel tank on the wing pylons and centre station can be removed and reattached without force.

Does the box include the pilot figure and display stand, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the diecast airframe, a pilot figure, a display stand, and all detachable ordnance already fitted; no extra purchases are required to display it as shown.
