Hobby Master Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet "Dagger Team" 1/72 Diecast Model

Scale and Subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet in "Dagger Team" United States Navy markings. It is made from diecast metal and plastic for a heavy, realistic feel and arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. The officially licensed replica targets adult collectors and military‑aviation enthusiasts who value accurate panel lines, antennas and surface details.

Upgrade Path

The model replaces simpler plastic kits or smaller‑scale replicas that lack opening features and detachable ordnance. The jump is worth it when a collector wants a ready‑to‑display piece with a detailed cockpit, pilot figure, opening canopy and removable weapons loads instead of a build‑it‑yourself assembly. No glue or paint is required to achieve the authentic representation shown in the official photography.

Build Fit

The finished model measures approximately 10 inches long with a 7.5 inch wingspan, so it fits standard display shelves and the included stand without needing a specialised cabinet. Detachable ordnance lets the owner configure the aircraft for different mission profiles, while the opening canopy reveals the pilot figure inside. The sturdy construction handles occasional handling during repositioning, freeing the collector from the fragility of resin‑only alternatives.
