Scale and Subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the Grumman F-14A Tomcat finished in the VF-124 Bicentennial scheme from 1976. It is aimed at adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who want a detailed replica of a specific United States Navy fighter. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Diecast Construction Limits

The airframe combines diecast metal and plastic to deliver a heavy, realistic feel while keeping fine details intact. Moving parts such as the opening canopy and detachable landing gear are engineered for display rather than repeated handling, so frequent repositioning may stress the smaller hinges. The included display stand supports the model securely for shelf presentation.

Defining Specification

The decisive factor is the 1/72 scale combined with the exact VF-124 Bicentennial livery applied to an F-14A airframe. Collectors needing that precise 1976 squadron marking will find the model matches their requirement; anyone seeking a different variant, scale, or generic Tomcat should look elsewhere.
