Scale and subject

This 1/72 diecast model reproduces the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II wearing the markings of aircraft 5345 assigned to the 354th Operations Group at Eielson Air Force Base. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult enthusiasts of modern military aviation. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Detail upgrades

Compared with simpler static replicas this release adds an opening canopy and a set of missile accessories for configurable display. The jump is worth it when a collector wants panel lines, antennas and access panels rendered in accurate scale rather than moulded impressions. Diecast metal construction gives the airframe a realistic heft.

Collector fit

The model suits buyers who want a true-to-scale desktop display piece with licensed US Air Force markings and a dedicated stand included. It is not for hobbyists who need a kit to assemble or paint, nor for those seeking a larger scale or a version without weapons fitted.

Questions about this item

How much display space does the 8.5-inch length and 5.75-inch wingspan need?

Does the opening canopy require any tools or force to access the cockpit details?

The canopy is designed to open by hand without tools; lift gently from the front edge to avoid stressing the hinge or surrounding panel lines.

Are the included missile accessories removable for separate display or storage?

Yes, the missile accessories are separate pieces that attach to the airframe and can be removed for alternative display configurations or safe storage.
