Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II wearing the Norm 81 camouflage scheme of JG 71 Richthofen as seen at CFB Goose Bay during the 1986 GAFTIC exercise. It is aimed at adult collectors and military aviation enthusiasts who value officially licensed, true-to-scale reproductions. The package arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened box.

Space and display needs

The assembled model measures approximately 10.25 inches in length with a 6.25 inch wingspan, so verify that your display shelf or cabinet can accommodate those dimensions. A dedicated display stand is included in the box, but no wall-mount hardware is supplied. The construction uses diecast metal and plastic, giving the piece a substantial feel that requires a stable, level surface.

Long-term handling

Diecast metal and plastic construction resists warping during extended display better than resin-only alternatives. Panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details are moulded rather than applied as decals, so they remain intact through occasional dusting or repositioning. Missile accessories attach securely but can be removed for alternate configurations without stressing the airframe.
