Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model reproduces the General Dynamics X-62A VISTA test aircraft flown by the USAF Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging with a display stand and missile accessories included.

Collector fit

The officially licensed Air Power Series replica suits adult collectors and military-aviation enthusiasts who value accurate panel lines, antennas and surface details. Buyers seeking larger display pieces or interactive play features should consider other formats.

Display durability

Diecast metal and plastic construction gives the model a heavy, realistic feel while resisting handling wear during occasional repositioning. The fixed landing gear and moulded missiles remain secure on the supplied stand for long-term shelf presentation.

Questions about this item

What display stand comes with the 1/72 X-62A VISTA model?

The package includes a display stand designed for the diecast aircraft so it can be shown in a flying pose on a shelf or desk.

Will the missile accessories fit other 1/72 scale aircraft I already own?

The missiles are moulded for the X-62A VISTA's specific hardpoints, so they align correctly only with this model.

How can I confirm the model matches the 2024 USAF Test Pilot School markings?

Check the tail for serial 86-0048 and the "Air Power Series" insignia on the packaging to verify the authentic 2024 Edwards AFB decoration.
